A hard but enjoyable request from the Wossy bods.

My recent exploits have made it into The Bookseller magazine, courtesy of Horace Bent who obviously took pity on my far from smooth ‘Fantastic Adventures of David Flannell’ filming.
My first book, The Somethings, gets a mention too – spookily coincidental as I’m building that section of the website right now! Hopefully should be up in the next day, so all those who have asked about it can read a decent synopsis, rather than put up with my nonsensical, on the spot descriptions.
Here’s the bit. For a PDF of the full page click on this link: The Bookseller Article

Flat scenes were knocked off fairly quickly leaving the big swimming pool scene left to shoot. Of the 20 extras that agreed to come down only 5 turned up, 3 of which couldn’t swim, 2 of which wouldn’t even get in the water. Even my main guy could only manage doggy-paddle. Was no one else taught to swim at school? It’s time to get the black rubber-coated bricks out I think!
Jake’s character, David, is supposed to be a seasoned swimmer. I cut this scene as he actually started to drown.

February 25th, 2010 by Edward | No Comments »The first single, ‘Trees’, is finally recorded and mastered. The artwork was done last Saturday and involved a walk across a very muddy field where I was nearly shot during a pheasant hunt – now that would make a good single cover!
Music video should be up in the next 2 weeks. If it comes off it’s going to look amazing – if it doesn’t come off it will look shitter than the wire work on Superman 4: The Quest For Peace.
Hopefully I’m still on schedule for a February 28th release… watch this space.
Here’s a shot that failed to make it through to the final round of the artwork designs.

Then, a couple of days later, I got a taste of my own medicine when William Gutzke wiped the floor with me and I was pushed into second place.
Oh well – it was nice to be a hunter hero for that short, but oh so sweet, minute. Who knows, maybe I’ll reclaim the title – either that or get on with my life – no, I’ll try and reclaim it.
Wahey! Big Buck Hunter Pro is now on the iPhone! Well, some of it is. I think my addiction just became slightly more worrying.
